Pats place RB Sammy Morris on IR

The New England Patriots placed Running Back Sammy Morris on the Injured Reserve today. We're about to find out if Laurence Maroney is durable enough to carry a team to the Super Bowl. This is a serious blow to the boys from Foxborough. Morris was the team's leading rusher with 384 yards and 3 touchdowns. This could be one of those injuries that doesn't fully catch up to the team until playoff time. Massachusetts in January is cold and wet. You better be able to pound opposing defenses with the run.

Is Marvin definitely not playing on Sunday? Man do we need him.

I've been waiting all day to read 88 Reasons to Hate the Patriots.
