R.I.P. N.B.A.

I agree with Simmons; were any of us really that surprised? Stern has been jimmy-rigging the league for years with suspensions (blaming the brawl on Artest instead of Wallace and the Pistons fans), and now the actual games are fixed? Sorry, I just can't do it any more.

I've lost alot of interest in the NBA since that Pistons debacle. Those wreckless fans and the start by Wallace were a benefit to Detroit, as the suspensions crushed a very competitive Indy team's hopes of a championship year. We've never recovered.

Last year's maulings of Nash in the playoffs and the suspension of his frustrated teammates brought that bitter taste to the forefront of my mouth.

Something should be done, although I'm barely interested anymore.Go Colts!
