Saturday's Agent: He'll be back

The bad news is Jeff Saturday will miss at least six weeks after tearing his medial collateral ligament in his right knee.

The good news is even if he chooses to have surgery to repair the tear he should return at some point this season. While there are no guarantees, this is sounds better than the worst case scenario.

Also, when searching for an appropriate video to celebrate this not-so-horrible news I came back across this great video.

DZ Comments: Holy crap. That video is amazing. I have never seen it before. I watched the Super Bowl with the international feed, and that wasn't included. I won't lie. I teared up.

Didn't see that video either; it was a bit emotional.

Is it just me or is 93's mom HOT?

DZ, the teariest part of the video, now that I rewatched with the volume higher, is Gary Brackett's aunt who says "he's playing for my sister," who, as we all know, is dead.

Wow. Never saw that before. Great find.

This Saturday injury is much like Glenn retiring in that it forces a young guy, a guy who we will use in the future, into the starting lineup from week 1 on. Ugoh was up to the challenge as a rookie, and I think whoever we put in there will do a great job as well. If Jeff having surgery will help him out next season, I say he goes for it. We should have the center position solidified by the time he could return anyway. Sucks for him being a contract year, but I hope somebody is willing to pay him the money he deserves next year. If not, we will be glad to have him back.

Great vid, btw. It reminds you of how, even though football is only a game, it can bring people together and mean the world.

Amazing video, but I'd seen it at the time of the SB. Still, I almost cryed.
