Four eyes

No, not really. It's really 18 Eyes, but that's not really a saying is it? I try to be catchy with these titles, but sometimes it gets hard to come up with a new play on words for Eyes every week. Anyway, Eyes in the Backfield is up for week 12 (remember we count based on what week it is for the Colts, not for the league). Here's a sneak peak:

1. Watch for a banner. A win Sunday wouldn’t guarantee the Colts an AFC South Title, but it might as well. The Colts hang banners for division titles, so a win would assure them of their 5th straight title in the AFC South. The Jags sometimes get national play, but until they can consistently beat the Colts (just 1-5 in their last six games against Indy), they won’t have earned it.

This series is really starting to get to me, because despite the Colts utter domination of it, it still has the rep of being more even than it really is. I really want this win. It won't be the end of the world if it doesn't happen...

but it'll feel like it.

Not only is Johnson's reign of terror likely over. We may get to remember why we liked him in the first place (Diem isn't practicing).

Where are they going to hang it? Everything is pretty symmetrical as it is now (3 corners have 3 banners each, and the SB banner on the SE corner). I can't see them moving the banners around just for a month (since they have to move the banners for next year anyway). And you don't want to put a "AFC South Champions" Banner next to a Super Bowl banner. Looks funny.

Then again, they won't do a new banner until we lose, right? I mean, otherwise they would have done three banners last year: AFC South, AFC Champs, Super Bowl.
