Monday Morning Combine

I hate the combine and Peter King is sort of annoying, but I'll link him up anyway. He said a few things that interested me:
1. He claims the Rams will push to have the outcome of the Super Bowl overturned if Matt Walsh has the goods. Yeah, right, Peter. Cute story. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
2. He quotes Polian as saying the draft is deep at RB. I could seriously be ok with drafting a RB in the second round. A solid two back system is the way to go. Still, I doubt the pick will come that early unless they are really in love with a guy.
3. He says nice things about downtown Indy, so he gets props for that.

Peter King is annoying? Peter King is the most annoying hackery-pushing clown journalist on the circuit.

And that's when he's saying GOOD things about the Pats.

Is he trying to look like Nicky Santoro with that little white tuft of hair in the front? Huh? Is this your pen?

I'm not sure that you use a high draft pick for a back up RB. There are just too many serviceable backs out there. We'd have been fine this year, but for a pair of stone hands.

I'd rather have another pass rusher or an off lineman. Or even another WR. Marvin may be done. Even if he can play, I'd like to see Dallas at TE, Gonzo in the slot, and Reg and Marv on the outside. Got to have some depth.

The Colts should definitely look at backup RB with their 2nd round pick, especially if the backup runningback returns kicks and has great hands, and maybe some experience at WR and possibly ran 4.24 at the combine.
