Will this motivate JC to help his fellow man? I don't know, but it's pretty cool anyway. Thanks to Dave at 5goldenrings.net for the video.
Whitlock chimes in on VY. My fear is that now that he's gone, the Titans will become real contenders. Several of you have sent in VY links, and after a couple of weeks of data, we'll do another edition of the Vince Young Files. I can get why he's down though. Imagine if you sucked at your job, but everyone thought you were great. Then imagine that as you improved at your job, everyone started to criticize you about the things THAT WERE ALWAYS TRUE. That would be hard to deal with, I suppose. Anyway, I'll save the real ripping for the column in a few weeks.
John Clayton says the Colts Pats is the best rivalry. Well, it was anyway.
Check out the Colts record in the division. I'm still mad about that one time we lost to the Texans (DOM! HOLD ON TO THE BALL!). The Titans have always been and will continue to be our real chief rival in the South.

Man, them's some creepy sci-fi brain heads you dug up. My SF knowledge is pretty weak considering I was a SF editor at the now-defunct OMNI magazine for a few years in the late 80s.
BTW, The Ryan Parker Brady song was pure genius--I sent the link to everyone I know.
Je'Rod Cherry...? Wasn't there also a Deron Cherry who played CB for KC in the 80s? Very talented, IIRC. What're they, cousins? Must do research instead of, you know, the actual job I get paid for....
Talosian.
Looks like we have a non-stoned replacement for Big Ed: LaJuan Ramsey from USC.

He was with the Eagles last year--we've had good luck with Eagles castoffs, well, actually we're 50/50 with them (Brock and Simon), so LJR is the deciding vote.
HO HO! Dropping the big boy name with Talosian! I would also have accepted the "butt head inhabitants of original Star Trek pilot episode 'The Cage'".
Very nice, Zac.
Were you guys even alive then? I was at least 4 or 5... I am shamed.
Nope not even close.
But I've seen all 79 (+1) original Star Trek Episodes, and I kept a check list of them when I was 10.
Now who is ashamed?
What day is it?
Gonna buy a ticket for that ring, man?
Do I seem charitable to you?
Im goin back to McFaddens....
I cannot take full credit for that catch. I am a Star Wars geek myself (one of the many reasons I love this site) and my brother in law is a hardcore Trekkie.
I caught that pic from a convo we had a while back and the resulting Wikipedia searches. As always, I stand on the shoulders of those giants which have come before.
Giants?
Was that a shot at me punk??
jc,
I am sure it was not (just as I am sure you got the reference). If it was an anti-Pats swipe he might have said, "I stand on the shoulder(pad)s of David Tyree."
Not that anybody cares, but I did dig up a bit on Deron Cherry--my memory was close--he's a HOF Free Safety who played for KC from 81-91 and is part of the Jags ownership group!!! That's funny.
The two Cherries appear to be unrelated.
