A day full of news. Not too surprised by the Jags, but the Texans caught me off guard. Buffalo looked alright (my poor Seahawk-fan relatives and coworkers!). Damn the Tites are in a fix with their injuries. Can Haynesworth play QB/RB, I wonder...? So... is KC with their #2 QB just one TD worse than NE with their #2? WOW. I figured a rhesus monkey chucking it up to Moss would do better than that. I am not cheering anybody's injury, but I take a little comfort in the apparently easier sked the Colts have in reality, relative to what projections had based on last year's records and FO's projections. Maybe our sked is, in reality, closer to the 22nd easiest rather than 32nd. And FO's wins projection leaps from 9.4 to 12.4..... Whaddawe got left, 3 hrs to kickoff? Dyin' here in Seattle. Might as well play some football with my kids.
IF Brady is out for a while it will be interesting to see if NE brings in someone to play ahead of Cassell? There really isn't much out there so they may be in trouble.
Though I'm with DZ rooting for 50 TDs from Cassell to diminish the star of "Sir Brady"
I won't quote Harvey Keitel's opinion of self-congratulations from Pulp Fiction on a family-friendly site, but we still have a game to get through tonight and a few question marks of our own. I'll rest easy in about 4 hours.
I agree that it was a day of pretty good news for Colts fans.

It was fun watching Garrard get sacked with a 3 man rush on the last play.
Good way to start; let's hope the Titans aren't quite as effective against the Colts.
And Houston? Wow, they got walloped.
If Tenessee had any quarterback NOT named Vince Young this game would have been Ten 30 Jax 10.
Current Over/Under on Int's for Garrad now stands at 24.
Titatns lost a boatload of players. VY was cheered when he had to leave with an injury.
Neither of those teams is any good.

I'm not happy about him getting hurt either, but I have switched to rooting for Cassell to throw 50 TDs now.
No, I agree. The NFL season isn't the same without Metro to kick around.

Who said Derrick Harvey wouldn't have an impact early? He picked off Vince Young, you have to be pretty good to ... oh wait, never mind.
This is like a banner day for Colts fans. VY goes down, the Jags go down, the Texans go down, and Brady goes down. Good times.
Adam, Don't forget SD's loss!
