Shut Up

I've said it before and I'm saying it for the last time. It's the day after Super Bowl XLI and I come to you from the future. I inform you that the Colts will lose the following players for most or all of the 2007 season:

Cato June (Starting LB)
Nick Harper (Starting CB)
Jason David (Starting CB)
Dominic Rhodes (Starting RB)
Tarik Glenn (Starting LT)
Booger McFarland (Starting DT)
Rob Morris (Starting LB)
Dwight Freeney (All Pro DE)
Marvin Harrison (All Pro WR)

They also lose key contributors Brandon Stokley and Terrence Wilkins. How many games would you have predicted the Colts would have won? 7 or 8?

Try 13 games and a random back-breaking fumble from a return to the AFC title game. You don't think Tony Dungy is a brilliant head coach capable of doing the impossible? You just witnessed an amazing season and you don't even know it.

Editor's note: To those who the above rant is directed (you know who you are): this rant should ideally be read while listening to Cake's "Shut the ---- Up."

So the Colts won 13 games. Congratulations on that loss in the playoffs. That whole article reminded me of crybaby Yankee fans who only can fire back with 27 championships. Dungy is a decent coach with a very talented team.

I can't believe you have the balls to write that article when you know damn well the only reason the Pats lost to the Colts last year in the AFC championship was because of injury and lackluster talent.

When the Patriots surround Brady with offensive talent he showed how great he is and BB proved he is the best coach in the league and arguably ever to coach. So cry me a river about all your injuries and enjoy watching the greatest team of all time complete a 19-0 season. And thats something your beloved Peyton, Marvin and Tony never have and never will accomplish.

What does this have to do with you? This post was directed at Colts' fans who blame Dungy for the loss in the playoffs, rather than realize the team they fielded wasn't good enough. The point was that this team shouldn't have been nearly as good as it was.

What does any of that have to do with the Patriots? Who even brought them up? Save it for a post where it's relevant. Yeah, the Pats lost last year because of injuries and less talent. Injuries and less talent account for about 95% of most playoff losses in the NFL. What's wrong with you people?

Go to hell? Thats the best you can come up with c'mon.

Nothing is wrong with us people we are just loyal. Honestly more loyal than any other fans anywhere in the country. Sports in the NorthEast is bigger than anywhere else in the country.

And I thought the post was intended for Pats fans.

I do however agree that the Colts losing was not due to stupid or bad coaching. They players have to execute.

If you agree the players didn't execute, then you agree with the post.

Demond gets pissed when people ignore context and subtext. He's a stickler for the subtleties of life. If you had read some of the comments on the previous posts, it would have made a little more sense.

All that, and Demond likes to tell people to go to hell. Oh, and we hates your team.

Ok Demond, way to show how intelligent you are. That was a well thought out well put together response yet again.

And I hate your team as well. Thats what makes rivalries fun. The fan hatred.

Deshawn is ok by me.

Demond the jury is out on since I have seen no real insightful thoughts from you.
