Apparently (according to Luke Paul Chandler for NES) Quinn Pitcock's facebook page says he's flying into Indy. The Colts also haven't filled the spot they had cleared on the roster for McCargo. I'm not adding those two together anytime soon, but I'm definitely intrigued. I'll keep my eyes out for anything actually reputable about it.
Shake
Ok, So we are grasping at straws now, but who cares? He probably just has pals in Indy. Still...
He also writes to say that McCargo practiced today in Buffalo. Weird.

Don't sweat it cousin....I'm not a participant I'm a circling vulture.
JC,
Ask the dead coyote on the side of the road if the vulture is a participant or not. If he could speak, he'd probably say so. I guess that doesn't count while the vulture is still circling--participation doesnt start until he lands.
I don't know (or care) who the hell starts this weekend--reading Phil B's blog makes me feel really sorry for him--the bitterness about how info is being handled is showing through, I am putting my head in a bucket regarding the NFL until Sunday about 1 PM (Seattle time). Whoever plays, plays. Roger Carr? cool. Glenn Doughty? swell. John Dutton and Joe Ehrman? Great. Don McCauley and Lydell Mitchell and Roosevelt Leaks in the backfield--sweet. (yes, I am channeling the Bert Jones era mid-70s)
I'm not sure Pitcock would even be an improvement on the line at this point. Depth, yes, but not the missing link.
They are starting a 265lb NT. I think Pitcock would be a great addition if he happened to have changed his mind and was in football shape.
They've updated the depth chart and injury report today, but still haven't put a 53rd man on the active roster.
This is the first time I really ever wished I had a Facebook account. That's some hot reporting. Phil B. needs to use all the resources available to him before he complains about being shut out. I'll bet it's been days since he checked Pitcock's Facebook page.
I get the #3 (CHI-MIN) game and the #2/Colts game Sunday. Awesome.
off topic but fyi. greed gone wild. FCC says "let them see boob!"

Shake, for the 53rd man, I'm thinking that "Shake n Bake" would look good in white letters on blue.
Hey, maybe they sign The Hefty Lefty to play the unusual position of DT/3rd QB. A lot of teams have punters or RBs as their third QB... why can't we have a 280 lb DT do it?
Is Klecko still available? Sheesh, now I'm getting desperate.
Looks like our "fears" about Ugoh are confirmed. This from the comments sectin of Phil B's blog:
<"Question: Hey Phil, What is the word on Tony Ugoh? Has he lost his starting job to Charlie Johnson or are the Colts still saying he is injured?
PHIL B: Ugoh has lost his job to Charlie Johnson. No more talk about injuries ">
So unless Ugoh responds to this demotion in a positive way and steps up to be the player he should be we are probably screwed on the OL for another year. Then we'll have to ask ourselves about the draft: 1st rounder on OT or DT?
Vomit.
You think losing McCargo and Ugoh getting bench is sickening, I can't even imagine how sick everyone should feel if I was on the roster
Shake, maybe you'd be dominated physically but your superior understanding of the game would make sure you realized it seconds before your head was taken off...don't sweat it. Though I was somewhat of a Jock in school, I never played football either. I know you don't need to have played to be a knowledgable fan, and I think you can really understand the game at a high strategic level even if you didn't play. You might not be able to know what it's like to take or make a hit. You might not understand how the speed of the game "feels" but I don't see that as being neccessary to have an excellent strategic understanding of the game.
The one and only thing I could do when I played football was read a QB. If I had the hands to catch it after I had anticipated where the ball was going I would have racked up some picks.
