Linking up

Random stuff from here and there:

Peyton doesn't really have any comment on the Harrison situation. How could he? Near as anyone can tell there isn't a situation to comment on.

The owners are utterly insane. From what I've read, Ralph Wilson is one of the chief whiners about the deal. Well guess what Ralphy, if you lose this deal, you'll never again field a competitive team in a market like Buffalo. Moron. Oh wait...I guess he can always thrive in Canada.

FO reviews the AFC South offseason. Someone needs to tell them that Dylan Gandy got released already.

You did. And if you hadn't I would have 3 hours later.

I'm not going to blame them too much. It was a surprising move, I had him penciled in as the starter at RG. If they weren't closely watching the Colts transactions it's pretty easy to miss it then assume that the guy that has backed up all 3 interior line spots for the last two years will be going for the newly opened starting spot.

Yeah, it bugged me so I went back there later and commented. I don't blame them either. It was a surprise move, but they really like the kids they drafted.

I suspect the FO staff is all pretty focused on the book. This piece was probably cobbled together over a several-week span, to be released when the AFCS slot came due. They most-likely added up to the minute additions but missed subtractions, especially ones that were somewhat surprising.

I'm almost tempted to change my screenname to Dylan Gandy and then post an "I got cut?!?!" message. Well, three of us would get it. Better than most of my jokes. But it's 2 a.m. in Seattle and there must be something better to do with my life, right?
